Mingo Balaguer’s Blue Shadow Band was born from the reunion of the musicians with whom Mingo Balaguer has shared the deepest musical connection throughout his career. Following the recording of the album Blue Shadow, that artistic chemistry evolved into a common project and a true dream team band.
Honest, deeply rooted blues performed with maturity, emotion, and the dialogue that only great musicians can create. A powerful and elegant live show where every note grows out of shared experience, spontaneity, and musical freedom.
The project features two outstanding drummers who are equally part of the band: French drummer Guillaume Destarac, who recorded the Blue Shadow album, and Spanish drummer Pascual Monge. Together they provide the rhythmic strength, energy, and personality that help define the band’s distinctive sound.
