Mingo Balaguer and Kid Carlos have created a solid, sophisticated project that captures the essence of mid-20th-century blues. Mingo’s powerful harmonica and Kid Carlos’s distinctive guitar work come together in a repertoire spanning electric Chicago blues, West Coast blues and jump blues, alongside swing, slow blues and ballads.
